How to round the corners of an image

  1. Choose an image, or drag and drop it above.
  2. Move the radius slider until the corners look right.
  3. Pick PNG for transparent corners or JPG for filled corners, then click Round Corners and tap Download below to save it.

When rounded corners help

Rounded corners suit profile pictures, app cards, presentation slides and social posts, where a sharp rectangle can look harsh. A small radius (20–40 px) looks clean and subtle; a large radius gives a soft, friendly card look.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded?

No. Corner rounding runs on your device, in your browser.

Why do JPG corners look white instead of transparent?

JPG has no transparency, so its corners are filled with the color you pick. Choose PNG if you need see-through corners, for example over a colored background.

Does rounding crop my photo?

No. The photo keeps its full size and content; only the corner pixels outside the rounded shape are removed (PNG) or filled (JPG). On very small photos the radius is capped at half the shortest side, so the shape never folds in on itself.
